The Digital Health and Discovery Platform (DHDP) is a pan-Canadian initiative that seeks to improve health outcomes for Canadians by deploying cutting-edge technologies that advance precision medicine.

Led by the Terry Fox Research Institute, the DHDP will unite over 97 members, including artificial intelligence institutes, hospitals, researchers and industry partners across Canada. It will create a federated data ecosystem that allows members to share data, resources, technology and knowledge like never before.

Along with helping to fuel new discoveries, the DHDP will also train future scientists, mobilize Canada’s knowledge economy and help position Canada as a world leader in the safe use of cutting-edge technologies that accelerate the implementation of precision medicine for cancer and other diseases.

Funded through Innovation, Science and Economic Development (ISED) Canada's Strategic Innovation Fund - Stream 4 program, the DHDP will provide the technological and policy framework  for the Marathon of Hope Cancer Centres Network to operate.
